Producing, creating directing, shooting, editing… I am always eager to collaborate on video projects big and small, and pride myself on being an excellent resource for creative ideas, storytelling, and coming up with strategies to maximize exposure and viewcounts.
My professional video work began in 2009 at the University of Portland's marketing department, where I served as the primary producer (and secondary shooter/editor) for everything from broadcast television commercials and special appeal videos to "viral" social media content. In 2015 I began graduate school in multimedia journalism at the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communications, honing my skills in storytelling, videography, editing, photography, graphic design, writing, and motion graphics animation.
Recently, I have partnered with Providence Foundations of Oregon to produce (and also sometimes shoot and edit) broadcast commercials, special appeal videos, social media content, and other philanthropy-focused videos. I love bringing fresh ideas to appeal videos with a particular eye on optimizing them for post-event sharing on social media, and I place a high emphasis on engaging viewers emotionally with powerful storytelling and beautiful images.
I am familiar with Canon, Sony, and Black Magic cameras, and I use Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects for editing.
